HP Awarded Department of Homeland 

Security Contract to Provide Application Services

 
HP Enterprise Services today announced it has been awarded a $41.6 million contract to provide application services for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Law Enforcement Support Center (LESC) to help speed internal processes regarding immigration status determination.
 
The LESC is a critical point of contact for the national law enforcement community, providing a wide range of informational services to officers and investigators at the local, state and federal levels.  The LESC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide timely and accurate information to law enforcement officers on the immigration status and identities of individuals who have been arrested or are under investigation for criminal activity. >>See more
